The Dräger CVP 5220 vest absorbs excessive heat of body, offering the user comfort during the work in the high-temperature environment or at the hard physical activity forcing to sweat. It can just be put on under protective clothes, for example, chemical protective TeamMaster pro-ET suit.
Description
The cooling action is provided the 22nd with elements from PCM - the material changing phase state (consisting generally from glauber salt) which are built in the cooling vest. At temperatures below 22 °C contents of PCM elements are in firm state. At temperature of surface of 28 °C contents of PCM elements pass into liquid state, absorbing thermal energy. At more high temperatures of environment the cooling vest can reduce temperature increase of body of the user approximately by 3-4 °C.
Depending on intensity of physical activity and surrounding temperature, the vest cools the user's body till 3 o'clock.
Surrounding temperature below 22 °C causes the return phase transition, and contents of PCM elements return to firm state approximately in 0,5-2 hours.
