Inhibited hydrochloric acid (10-23%)

Inhibited hydrochloric acid is the caustic, incompressible fluid dissolving the majority of metals and oxides. However, porcelain, ceramics, glass, granite is steady against it. Acid well mixes up with water, ether and benzene.

Except application in the oil-extracting industry, inhibited hydrochloric acid is used for etching and cleaning of the oxidized layers of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and also, for chemical refining from inorganic deposits, scum of coppers or devices.
