Diaphragms, sealing NUFLO nodes

Orifice meters are issued in two basic modifications: the universal diaphragms of type 500 intended for installation in a fastening assembly of a diaphragm and in holders of diaphragms with clutch coupling and the bladed diaphragms of type 520 established in final flanges.

The following established admissions are applicable to all orifice meters of the NuFlo™ series:

• Edges: not slanted and sharpened, not reflecting rays of light by consideration without magnifying optics.
• Surface roughness: 20 microinches
• Surface finish: a deviation from planeness no more than 0,010 inches on crossing point width inch (width of a crossing point is equal to a half of a difference of diameters of a pipe and an opening of a diaphragm)
• Opening: the admission on the diaphragm opening sizes strictly conforms to requirements of the last edition of the report of the commission on metrology of gases at the American gas association, the report of the commission on liquid meters at society ASME and metrological agency of Canada.
• Design: the products usually deliverable from a warehouse, have the standard design applied in all industries. On demand products of a special design can be delivered.
• Standard sizes: orifice meters are delivered on the inside diameter of the pipeline from 1/2 inches to 36 inches. From a warehouse products for pipelines of all standard diameters from 2 to 8 inches are delivered. Diaphragms of big standard sizes for pipelines with a diameter up to 60 inches are delivered on demand.
• Execution option: gas or drain openings. The choice is possible in the course of registration of the order. Besides, in the course of registration of the order it is possible to choose diaphragms with processing under a sealing gasket.
