About the ArchiCAD program: In ArchiCAD the concept of creation of the so-called virtual building is the cornerstone of creation of the project. It means that plans of rooms are not drawn by means of simple lines, and are created by means of special virtual walls, windows, doors, overlappings and other structural elements. I.e. in fact, instead of the simple "flat" plan of the room the user receives a three-dimensional architectural design thanks to what different views on the room are automatically created: 3D - projections, development of walls, cuts, etc. If the architectural model is constructed correctly and the project is kept correctly, then formation of all design documentation is carried out very simply and qualitatively.

Task course ArchiCAD: To train users in methods of creation of model and formation of the project, to acquaint with means of execution of design documentation. Advantage of ours of a technique of training is that studying of functions of the program takes place on the example of creation of the main standard plans of the design project.

Main subjects course ArchiCAD:

Basic concepts. Pupils receive general information about appointment and opportunities of the program, study the program interface, ways of navigation in the project. The review of the main panels and a board, their inclusion and shutdown becomes. We create the new project and we adjust it for further work.

Creation of model of the room. In the course of construction such structural elements as walls, windows, doors, overlappings are studied; methods of drawing on coordinates and relative drawing, means of the choice and editing objects. Working methods with floors, ways creation of columns, beams, ladders and roofs are studied in an advanced course of ArchiCAD.
