   Photoetching belongs to a chemical way of impact on metal at production of badges. Feature of this production technology of signs is other principle of creation of sides for putting enamels: unlike stamping, deepenings for enamels do not vyshtampovyvatsya, and are etched by acid that allows to make them thinner, in comparison with stamped or cast badges, and, therefore, lines on such signs can be made much more thinly.

   Thanks to this method, it is possible to transfer the most fine details of design decreasing in a size and disappearing lines that cannot be reached in other way.

   Special brass plates 0,8-1,2 mm thick are repeatedly ground that allows to add to badges unique gloss. After receiving deepenings by means of acid, in them, by means of special syringes enamels are applied. For protection of the applied enamels against mechanical influences badges become covered with optical pitch. Distinctive feature of the badges made in technology of photoetching is also relatively the wide external edge of badges (0,8-1 mm).
